24 Hours in Split

When in Croatia, you might as well look for Daenerys dragons. Amiright?

After an incredible day at Plitvice Lakes, the Diemers continue their March south and make a stop in Split. Between stuffing kabobs in their gobs, they make time to visit nerd dream destinations such as Fortress Klis and Diocletian's palace.

While they don't find any dragons, they do learn that the palace is really just kind of a sewer, but all the sewage is long gone (which is nice). At Fortress Klis they find other tourists in search of their own Khaleesis. While the Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons is nowhere to be found, Fortress Klis is the ultimate self guided castle experience.
